D-10 (Job Seeker) Visa – 3rd Extension Eligibility

The D-10 job seeker visa generally allows a stay of up to

two years in total, 

and extensions are usually granted within this standard period.

Each application is subject to individual review by the immigration office and approval is granted only in limited circumstances.
Applicants are required to provide clear, detailed, and objective supporting documentation.

Simply stating that you are “currently seeking employment” is generally not sufficient, and the likelihood of approval for a D-10 visa extension beyond the third term is very low.

If your D-10 visa has already been extended three times or more, it is generally more practical to consider a change of visa status rather than applying for another extension.

Examples:

• D-10 → E-7 (Specialty Occupation Visa)

• D-10 → E-9 (if applicable)
